Our American landscape is littered with old and abandoned buildings. These deserted places are a sign of change – how something that was once useful and even beautiful is no longer either. We tend to push these places aside and let nature have its way with them. Their decline and slow destruction has its own beauty as the evolution of our culture and landscape moves on. My abandonscapes attempt to honor the history of these places by finding the art and beauty in the remains of something that was once vital.
