Let’s take a break form Death Valley so I can share this photograph with you. My first photograph of the year was actually about 30 years in the making. I first saw this old building when I moved to South Jersey and have had it on my list of things to photograph ever since. While driving home, I was admiring an eerie moonlit sky and racking my brain to think of a location to photograph. Then, the old Medford Concrete Company popped into my mind. It turned out to be an ideal time to visit this place with my camera. Not only was the sky with the full moon perfect but the street lights illuminated the building just enough. One more thing off the bucket list.
Fantastic job here and quick creative thinking. The moon and sky compliment the building so well and the moon happens to be in the perfect spot too!
Thanks, sometimes the universe is very cooperative and the conditions and location just falls into place. About 10 minutes after I made this image the clouds cleared out.
Rich, I enjoyed this image.
